VOTER REGISTRATION
If you're planning to vote in June, make sure you're registered to vote by TUESDAY MAY 20, 2025.

Only voters affiliated with the Democratic Party can vote in the Primary Election. Voters currently affiliated with another political party who want to vote in the Democratic Primary must change their affiliation by April 16. Unaffiliated voters can affiliate with the Democratic Party up to and on the day of the primary.

THERE ARE THREE WAYS TO CAST YOUR BALLOT
1. VOTE BY MAIL
Voting by mail is a safe, quick, convenient, and secure way to make your voice heard in this upcoming election.
Registered voters can apply for a vote-by-mail ballot here.
Mail-in ballots will be sent out starting Saturday, April 19.
Your vote-by-mail ballot MUST be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Returning Your Vote by Mail Ballot

Your vote-by-mail ballot MUST be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day and be received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before the sixth day after the close of the polls.

SECURE BALLOT DROP BOX
Place your vote-by-mail ballot in one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS OFFICE
Deliver your vote-by-mail ballot in person to your county’s Board of Elections Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

2. EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING
In-person early voting for the New Jersey primary election is open June 3, 2025 – June 8, 2025.
During that time, you can cast an early vote from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and from 10:00am to 6:00 pm on Sunday.
You DO NOT need an appointment to vote early in-person.
